Arm Party

Well, I finally joined in on the arm party.
A mixture of 2 Alex and Ani bangles and 2 local boutique finds (the golden circles I found at a steal of $6!) all sandwiching a lovely sterling silver and opal piece by sis picked up for me in Cozumel, Mexico.
...topped off with a hair tie.

Have y'all joined the arm party yet?

Review: New Products Vlog

So I missed hopping on that whole accent vlog thing...
but you will here my voice as I go over my latest beauty haul!
(sweet thumbnail shot by the way, right?)

EDIT: I also purchased this little gem at Ulta on Tuesday, but I forgot to add it to the video.
I'm a sucker for the Moroccan Oil line, but I thought I would give this little guy from AG a try too. It's actually more expensive than Moroccan Oil, so I'm hoping I'm not all too impressed.

Also, one last thing,...I forgot to give you the link to The Small Things Blog...so there y'all have it!Definitely a blog to check out!

Epic Birthdays

Celebrating the big 25 at the office

Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Love Your Birthday (regardless of your candle count) by yours truly...

5. You would be the worst liar in the world if you said you didn't love the presents. Sometimes the best one given is just the simple gift of someone else's time.

4. Well hello, Facebook notificiations. Just when you thought no one cared about your ten new photo albums or the fact that you allow your complete private life for public display, you are now guaranteed for at least 60% of your "friends" to wish you another great year.

3. If you are anything like me, you just justified every purchase you have made in a month's time span with "because it's my birthday!" response.

2. Calories are non existent. Non. Existent.

1. You only get one wish. Make it count.

Missoni Madness

So unless you have been living under a rock for the past few months, you probably already knew one way or the other that Missoni came out with a line for Target today.
Did y'all end up actually finding anything to buy?
More drastically were you even able to log in to Target.com??

I ended up finding the two pairs of shoes that they featured, a chevron box that I plan to put hair products in and a cute chevron journal.
While at work today I read about tweet after tweet of Targets being flooded with Missoni thirsty women who literally stocked up on this amazing collection. Because the collection was so large, I could understand the large hauls, but fighting over a picture frame? Come on.

Surprisingly enough, my Target experience with the women around me was highly enjoyable and brought a sense of camaraderie. I tried on shoes with no dispute, and pushed our buggies to every aisle together to scope it out. Did I buy 65 candles to sell on eBay? No.
Did get a kick out of watching women go berserk over Target...
Oh yes.
Yes. Yes. Yes.

Another Year, Another Party

This labor day weekend my family celebrated my youngest niece, Autumn Marie, turning two. Granted her actual birthday isn't until the 15th, one lucky sister of mine will be on a cruise coming up and we decided to get together early.
And yes, I'm jealous.

Of course, like every year, every thing is homemade. From the happy birthday banner to the ladybug themed cupcakes. I think they turned out really cute and boy, were they delicious! Doing things like this with Michelle makes me wish we lived closer, and could open our own cupcakery one day. Only dreaming...
Hope y'all had a great holiday weekend!

September Shopping

Ah, September.
September brings the first glimpses of fall, pumpkin spice lattes, and just the day I was born. NBD.
And I went to Target tonight, and found some cute things to introduce to the new season.

How cute is this bow dress? I had to go up a couple of sizes just for it to cover my butt, but I'm not complaining. I'll pair this with some black tights and change out the belt that came with it with one of my chunkier ones.

And don't mind my awkward pose while trying to show y'all how this shirt fit. I love that it's flowy, and long enough for me to wear with some skinny jeans and camel colored boots.
And last but not least, I bought this little gem for a whooping 99 cents. After reading this article, I thought, "why the heck not!?!"

Oh, and one more thing...how are y'all liking the new blogger interface? I'm saying LOVE.
