Hi there, y'all! I'm a southern gal who has spent the vast majority of my life traveling between my small hometown in Mississippi and the hustle and bustle of Memphis, Tennessee. I love snuggling with my husky, Aspen, drinking good coffee, and collecting a vast amount of lipstick. I also accumulate a very random assortment of different things...everything from glass owls to pretty paper.

When you don't find my nose in a book, you can usually find me training for half marathon, juggling my three nieces (Ava Grace, Autumn Marie, & Adalyn Rose), or sharing witty humor with my loving husband, Cory. I love him so much that I'll occasionally set aside my social media addiction during our conversations.

On December 2, 2011 and after nearly six years of dating, Cory got down on one knee and popped the big question. You can read more about that here and here. And on October 6, 2012, they started calling me Mrs. :)

On October 7, 2012, we packed up everything we owned and moved to the coast of Alabama for Cory's job assignment (..wild honeymoon, right?) I was blessed to find a job of my own, and received an offer the Tuesday before the wedding...very blessed indeed! Then in 2013, we had an opportunity to come back, which, holy cow, we were missing home! Even with Cory's crazy schedule as a Aircraft Mechanic for FedEx, we still find the time to make it work. :)

And among all this craziness, we share a lovable eight-year-old (and 80 pound) Siberian Husky, Aspen. She likes to think she's a lap dog and runs away from nearly any and all photos I attempt to take of her.

I'm a huge Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies basketball fan. I enjoy making people laugh, and I'm often confused for Katy Mixon and the voiceover from the Geico pothole commercial.

And, yes, this is my real voice. Yeehaw.
