The Ins and Outs

I've seen quite a few blogs doing this, and I figured as I sit in my bed, trying to beat this lousy cold/flu/fever I have going on, I would entertain you with my own In and Out list:

What is IN:

Great Co-Workers/Bosses: Seriously, do you know someone that after seeing you feel terrible at work send you home to get better...TWO days in a row? I can now say yes to that question. Dude, I feel fortunate.

MAC's To the Beach Collection: I have yet to actually buy anything from this collection, but I will be looking forward to purchasing the "High-Light Powder" and testing the "Bronze Body Oil." From the looks of it, the High-Light is sold out online, so I'm saying a silent prayer that my friends over at my MAC counter still have it in stock.

Silica Cell Food Drops: I started taking this supplement when I saw Pretty In Pink Megan tweet about this awhile back. They are what I like to call "prenatal vitamins for the non-prenatal," and they are making my hair and nails grow like weeds.

Curling My Hair: Lets face it, with this humidity in the air, it's pointless to be styling my hair when I know it will frizzle up the second I step outside. Since my hair is naturally curly, I've been taking 8 large sections against a 1 1/4 inch curling iron and calling it a day. The first time I did it, it took me 5 minutes, and I was running late for work. Ten compliments later, I decided to keep it in my morning routine.

What is OUT:

Summer Colds: Enough said...

Pale Skin: With all these skirts and capris I have been wearing, I need to get a spray tan stat!

Blog Writer's Block: I am sick of having nothing to blog about. Currently seeking out inspiration.

BP's apology for the oil spill: Oh wait, that's right...they didn't apologize at all. BP's rep, Randy Prescott, even had the gall to say this, "Louisiana isn't the only place that has shrimp." Really Randy, you want to go there??? Just dig yourself a deeper hole.

xoxo,

Oh my gosh, I had no clue he said that about the shrimp! What a terrible thing to say! The whole oil spill situation makes me sick to my stomach :(, it's so sad.

I am sorry you are sick! I may have to try those food drops. Where did you find them? Hope you start to feel better soon!
