January's Birchbox Winners & Losers

I'm sad to admit, but there were no winners from last month's Birchbox...

Boo...

Let me first explain...

To be a "winner" product in my book, it would have to be something I would really buy.

These products just didn't make the mark.

I keep thinking about other dupes I use that just so happen to be cheaper too.

Like for example:

The ok:

the Stila Smudge Stick
(my favorite thing when I opened the box)
Low and behold, it only gave me enough eyeliner for 1 or 2 applications.
Bummer, Stila, bummer.
I am still using samples daily from two months ago, so come on...
The purple shade wasn't all too noticeable and it was waterproof like it claimed, 
but I think I'll stick to my trusty drugstore brands that do the same thing.
My favorite - Rimmel London's Glimmering Eye Darkening Liner in Tiger’s Eye

Jouer Body Butter
Now, I will say this. I liked this lotion. It smelled amazing.
BUT. I can't spend double digits on a lotion. I just can't.
My favorite - Dove Cream Oil Intensive Body Lotion

The bad:

Viva la Juicy perfume

I don't want to hate on perfume, because everyone has different tastes for things like that.

But this one was not for me.

The Ugly:

BORGHESE CuraForte Moisture Intensifier

Can someone please explain to me what a moisturizer intensifier is...???

As a person with oily skin as it is, I don't think I'll need it

Not a fan.

 I did see how some of y'all got other flavors...maybe I just got the crappy one.

But I prefer wasting my calories on something that tastes a little better.

And not to end like a Debbie Downer, I do have the BB magnet on my fridge, so not all is lost!
