I'm Overwhelmed, Y'all...

Holy Mother of God, who knew there were this many wedding help books?!?!
I didn't end up purchasing any because Lord knows it took my whole lunch hour just to sift through them all.
But I did find a few that I like to look more into.
I did, however, pick up my very first wedding magazine to ooggle over for DIY inspiration.

Now all of this poses a question, where did you find your planning inspiration from?
I'm loving Pinterest, but are there any other websites I need to check out or helpful tips?
I AM ALL EARS.
Or eyes in this case. ;)

xoxo,

I'm not married, but I've heard The Knot and Martha Stewart Weddings are really helpful websites :)

Congrats! While I was wedding planning my two favorite sites for inspiration were: stylemepretty.com & greenweddingshoes.com

Just picked up that magazine this weekend and it is by far one of the best and cutest I've gotten in the past 6 or 7 months! I definitely looked at stylemepretty.com as well a few more that have cute posts are weddingchicks.com, loveandlavender.com, and 100layercake.com. Martha Stewart always has some fun and great diy ideas as well!

This post is right up my alley! My wedding planning book I'm currently using to keep myself organized is the big purple one in the first picture, and my mom bought me the skinny, pink "Bridal Bargains" book. It can all get so overwhelming! I think I found the most inspiration from magazines, pinterest and stylemepretty.com. I feel like once you have a vision for yourself, all the books and sites can get in the way because there's always something else you want. I am far from done planning mine if you ever need someone to talk to about all the craziness!

If you want to grab lunch or coffee or something, I can give you my wedding blogroll list, my PinkBook wedding binders (I have two extras I never used!), etc. Jen-Marie could come too since she just planned! Would love to help :)

I found that I got more helpful information from magazines instead of books. My inspiration for our wedding was my engagement ring (princess cut) and a bottle of my favorite perfume - Chanel Chance. Our wedding was all a gold champagne color and silver. I love it because it mean something special. Hope you find how to make your day specially yours!
